Avionics is the subteam responsible for designing, building, and integrating the flight systems that make CMRC's missions possible. This includes recovery, pyrotechnics, GPS, cameras, active control, ground station telemetry, and much more. Our work supports both NASA's University Student Launch Invitational (USLI) and CMRC Spaceshot (breaching 100 km above Earth).

We are primarily an R\&D team, so expect a fast-paced, industry-like environment where everyone is actively learning by trying new things. We welcome members from all backgrounds and experience levels, especially those interested in embedded systems, analog circuits, FPGA prototyping, and simulation. You'll be trusted with real systems and real responsibility from day one, and have a tight-knit community to support you every step of the way.
